IP ENCODER

DECLARATION ENCODER

WAN/LAN PORTS
2x

VIDEO INPUTS
1x SDI
1x HDMI

ENCODING LEVEL:
Level 1: HEVC
Level 2: H.264

For each encoding level, two broadcast streams can be generated and streamed.
At level 1, Target-1 & Target-2
can be defined with two different IP destination/addresses .
The same goes for level 2

Thus, a maximum of four streams can be delivered to four different IP addresses or platforms.
2x HEVC and 2x H.264.

EXCEPTION LEVEL 1 / HEVC - ULL MODE
In Ultra Low Latency (ULL) mode only Target-1 in UDP TS can be selected! Target-2 is then not selectable.
At level 2 in H.264 mode both targets can still be used in this configuration.

For each video input, an encoding level must be selected or an input can be set to both levels.
SDI input on HEVC or H.264
HDMI input to H.264 or HEVC
SDI or HDMI input on both levels

BANDWIDTH / CBR - VBR
For all TX modes (*** except Broadcast) you can choose between CBR *** (constant bitrate) or VBR (variable bitrate), from 1Mbits - 30Mbits.
The bit rate can be changed during transmission, on the fly, on all targets.

After the login has been enabled, the following parameters are visible and can be changed in the encoder:

SELECT INPUT: SDI or HDMI
CBR or VBR: depending on the connection between 1-30Mbits (see below)
Choose level: HEVC or H.264, incl. The respective parameter for the encoding. (see below)
Protocols: select the streaming protocol
Addressing: Input of the IP address and port

SPECIFICATIONS: ENCODER LEVEL-1 HEVC
The following parameters are available in HEVC Level:

VIDEO INPUT:
1x SDI input: HD / SD
1x HDMI input: HD / SD

OPTION:
DVI-D Input: HD / SDI

VIDEO ENCODING LEVEL 1
(at least 4Mbits per target)
Encoding Level 1: HEVC / H.265 in 4: 2: 2/4: 2: 0, 8bit or 10bit

TX MODE: ULL - Ultra Low (Latency 100-350ms)
suitable for live switching / bidirectional connections

TX MODE: Broadcast Broadband (Latency 900-1'500ms)
* for unidirectional connections / possibly Live switching

TX MODE: ISR Low Bandwidth (Latency 900-1'500ms)
can be used with low bandwidth

ZIXI & SRT PROTOCOLL
for uni-and bi-directional live broadcasts with the highest quality
In Zixi or SRT mode all lost packets are restored - (packet-loss-recovery protocol)
